A priority in establishing close working partnerships with our referring community physicians sets University Pathologists’ Cytopathology and Gynecologic Pathology division apart from other regional services. We provide clinically integrated pathology consults and specialized diagnostic reports, including statistical pap summary reports, with a fast and accurate turn around time. Our cytopathologists, Drs. Khorsand, Qi, Gokhale, Mongeon, Ahearn, Stein, Judson, Stoleru, Vezza and Darko, include among their achievements training in competitive fellowship programs at celebrated academic centers of excellence. Dr. Khorsand serves as Director of the cytopathology program for Southcoast Hospitals Group. In addition to specializing in cytopathology, Dr. Judson is trained in gynecologic pathology, and Dr. Stoleru is trained in breast pathology, making us experts in the field of women's health. Our professionals are nationally recognized experts in the field of women's health and remain on the leading-edge of technological advancements, offering the latest in women's health diagnostic procedures.
