Surgical Pathology

Our most extensive division, University Pathologists' Surgical Pathology division is served by 30 board-certified anatomic pathologists — and yet every member of our team attributes their close partnership with area physicians as the key to fast, accurate diagnosis of both routine and difficult cases. We have carefully selected our pathologists for their broad range of experience. Our pathologists hold academic titles at the Boston University School of Medicine, and several pathologists have a strong background in research with several publications. Overall, the group boasts considerable experience in the diagnosis of non-neoplastic and neoplastic tissue, as well as expertise in evaluating prognostic indicators in cancers of the lung, breast, head and neck.
